Production for the second season of Kings of Jozi is in full swing and we are here for it. This is definitely the content we signed up for.
Actress and media mogul, Connie Ferguson took to Instagram to pen a heart-warming note to her late husband, Shona Ferguson.
“Dear Sho, My ANGEL, thank you for EVERYTHING! Day 1 of KOJ on the 1st working day of the week was a success! You’d be very proud of the team! I certainly am! Long live my KING! Long live!”
Following the huge success of season one, King of Jozi is in its second season. The first season of this masterpiece was one to write home about. It topped twitter trends. Indeed, the “SHO” is going on.

The Netflix series has such a stellar cast. Thespians of note. It features Shona who plays Simon “Vader” Masire, who is a member of the Kings of Joburg brotherhood and is also the eldest of the Masire siblings, Zolisa Xaluva, Tk Sebothoma, Buhle Samuels, Cindy Mahlangu, Connie Ferguson, Abdul Khoza, SK Khoza, Tsholofelo Matshaba, Thembi Seete and many more.
At this point it is still unclear if Shona Ferguson’s character will be replaced or killed in the new season.
This 6-part series storyline centres around what brotherhood is all about.
The Masire brothers rule Johannesburg’s criminal underworld but a supernatural family curse and a tangled web of betrayal threaten to destroy them.
Elements of love, family, conflict, power are questioned in the story and the major question of why one should be a brother’s keeper.
Our expectations are sky high following an exciting and riveting season one. We know we are in for a ride.
The “Sho” is definitely going on!!!
