The much-anticipated Black Entertainment Awards (BEA) has announced its 4th Annual instalment ceremony, honouring outstanding individuals and organizations in various fields.

Dazzling nominees have been unveiled, each an embodiment of courage, creativity and resilience in the face of societal challenges.

This year’s honorary awards recognize remarkable contributions:

Zola 7: Timeless Music Icon Award for his enduring legacy and impact on the music industry.

Our very own SA POSITIVE NEWS Founder/Editor in chief Amanda Matshaka: Lifetime Achievement Award for her remarkable dedication and service in media.

Zane Meas: Legendary Actor Award for his iconic performances and contributions to the film industry.

Khanyo Maphumulo: Global Recognition Award for her international acclaim and recognition.

Fresh from clinching gongs at the recent South African Heroes Awards, triumphant duo Zane Meas and Khanyo Maphumulo are on a winning streak, we love to see it – our legends receiving their flowers while they can still smell them.

This prestigious award ceremony will be Co-hosted by Mrs Universe Africa runner-up Ntibi Papa and the talented Hloni G.

The Black Entertainment Awards (BEA) will also feature a star-studded lineup of performers including hip-hop duo Eazywinggz and Mellow, launching their new single “They’ll Be Mad” live on stage.

The ceremony is set to take place on November 1st, 2024, at Goldfields Casino Conference hall in Welkom.
