The Mzansi Women of Influence Expo & Awards proudly celebrates its 5th Anniversary in 2025, marking five impactful years of honouring extraordinary women who are transforming South Africa and the African continent.
Following the footsteps of iconic honourees such as Dr. Naledi Pandor, Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, and Professor Mmamokgethi Phakeng, this year’s edition builds on a strong foundation of excellence and legacy to present an even bigger, more global celebration.
The 5th Annual Women of Influence Expo & Awards will take place on Saturday, 30 August 2025, at the Favors Arena in Pretoria. This year introduces a full Expo Day, followed by a glamorous Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony that will bring together dignitaries, ministers, media, celebrities, and female icons under one roof.
Honourees include Dr. Nakedi Ribane, Dr. Lillian Dube, Mama Letta Mbuli, Dr. Abigail Khubeka, and global superstar Doja Cat, Makhadzi, Premier Phoppy Ramathuba and many more.
International Delegation & African royalty and reigning beauty queens from the SADC Region, will also be in attendance, such as Miss Botswana, Miss Zimbabwe, Miss Namibia, Miss Mozambique, and queens from all 16 SADC countries. They will be joining local queens such as Miss South Africa, Mrs South Africa, Miss Gauteng, Miss Soweto, Miss Globe, Miss Universe Africa, and Miss Supranational.
The Mzansi Women of Influence movement was founded to uplift and showcase women breaking barriers in business, leadership, education, arts, construction, mining, health, and governance. The platform gives voice and recognition to both celebrated figures and unsung heroines across the continent.
This 5th edition is not just a celebration; it is a call to unite the world around women. Through partnerships with G20, C20, and W20 platforms, the event also promotes global diplomatic, cultural, and educational exchange during South Africa’s G20 Presidency engagement.
