In commemoration of their third Grammy win, the Soweto Gospel Choir’s Grammy award will be displayed at the Soweto Theatre this summer.
General manager of the Soweto Theatre, Nomsa Mazwai confirmed that the Soweto Theatre will now be home to the Soweto Gospel choir.

Fresh from their Grammy win, the Soweto Gospel will be performing at the theatre from this week until 3 November 2019.
It’s part of the theatre’s initiative to celebrate and honor local talent.
The multi-award-winning choir bagged this year’s Grammy award for Best World Music Album.
