‘It’s sad to see my sisters suffer’

138

It’s sad to see my sisters suffer

And it is hard for them to recover

the only ones crying for them

Are their mothers

Wondering “why did you touch her”.

They are strong and bold

They shine through darkness

Why are they being controlled

Their stories need to be told

Some men seem to get tempted

But don’t know that others

Are being affected

Because when they get rejected

They don’t seem to accept it.

To my fellow South African brothers

We must protect our sisters

Because together we are strong

And we can achieve greatness
