Finalists for the 2nd annual South African Heroes Awards (SAHAs) have been announced.
The awards which were introduced last year celebrate unsung community heroes in six categories – Women Empowerment, Youth Empowerment, Business Empowerment, Community Service, Community Health and Specialised Care.
Of over 100 entries submitted, 63 finalists have been announced. These heroes depend on the votes of those that they have been selflessly, diligently serving, to emerge as winners.

SA Heroes Awards is an initiative of SA Positive News in partnership with Mosetsa Media and sponsored by Mohlalefi Group.

Winners will be announced on Mandela Day, July 18, 2020, at the Apartheid Museum in Johannesburg at 6 pm.
Tickets to the ceremony will be made available in June from web tickets at R150. Further details will be posted as the committee will be monitoring the current COVID-19 developments in the country.
