Mrs Township South Africa/Exclusive proudly hosted its prestigious annual crowning event on 7th December 2024, at The Encore Complex, Hatfield, celebrating the beauty, strength, and resilience of women from across South Africa’s townships.
The prestigious event honoured the beauty pageant queens, sharing inspiration behind embarking on this journey. They gave a reminder that beauty pageants are not only about beauty and crowning but to bring change in a society. To empower young girls and give them hope.
“The Mrs Township South Africa project is dedicated to restoring and cementing the role of women in our township, and this workshop was a significant step towards that mission”, said Mrs Township South Africa CEO, Naomi Mosiane.
“Pageants helped me grow as an individual and shaped me into the woman I am today. I can proudly say I’m confident, outspoken, and articulate with great public speaking skills. Once you hold a pageant title, your time is spent volunteering, advocating for issues you care about, and setting an example for generation of girls to come. Beauty pageants give the confidence you didn’t think you had”, said pageant judge, Tshegofatso Tshetlanyane, Mrs. South Africa 2024 Finalist.

1st Runner-Up: Naledi Ramaboea (Rustenburg – Northwest)
2nd Runner-Up: Judith Matla (Kraaipan – Northwest)
Mrs Township South Africa Category: Open to married, divorced, and widowed women.
Mrs Township South Africa Exclusive: A category exclusively for women who have never been married, with or without children.
