In a media statement the Mrs South Africa organisation announced a change to adapt to the current times. “This year has completely thrown many businesses and events upside down. Despite that, Mrs South Africa has continued to operate, adapt and reinvent”, says Media & Creative Director, Lisa Madibe.
The pageant will select Top 50 contestants from its current top 100, before going down to the top 25 finalists towards the end of 2020.
The Top 50 Mrs South Africa Semi-Finalists will be selected through a virtual judging process and announced on Women’s Day, 9 August 2020 through a live streaming production.
“The Top 50 semi-finalists will continue with the empowerment program and run for the coveted title of Mrs South Africa 2021 and your new Mrs South Africa will be crowned in February 2021” said Madibe.
The judges for the top 50 selection are; Tatum Keshwa (Former Miss SA 2008 , Model and business woman), Nicole Capper (Former Mrs SA 2018 and Media Personality) and Matapa Maila (Former Mrs SA 2019).
