The Top 100 who are vying for the titles of Mister & Miss United Nations South Africa 2020 have been announced. They will compete to wear the prestigious crowns in Johannesburg a bit later this year.
Mister and Miss United Nations South Africa winners will get an opportunity to represent South Africa internationally as well as walk away with a bouquet of exciting prizes.
“After a nationwide search we received over 950 entries, which we had to narrow down to 350 semifinalists, who initially had to attend semi-finals in Johannesburg but due to the pandemic the organization had to be innovative and host the event digitally”, says Pagaent Director, Mpho Botha.
Finalists had to submit a video while introducing themselves and another video walking in their most stylish outfit. After the extensive judging process the following contestants where chosen as this year’s finalists:

This year members of the public can vote for their favourite Mr & Miss United Nations South Africa 2020 finalist and propel them to the crown. The winner of the public vote will be crowned Face of the United Nations Pageant S.A. The public voting is open and all the voting codes of this year’s finalists are available on the United Nations Pageant S.A.
The public’s SMS votes will have a 10 percent weighting of the overall voting towards the winner, with 80 percent resting with the official judges. Voting is done via SMS. The public can SMS the number of their favourite Top 100 finalist to the short code number 40439.Each SMS will cost R2.
