Talented actress and Radio personality Motsoaledi Setumo makes a return to acting with a new role. The thespian has been on a 5 year hiatus. However, she is now back with a bang.
She is set to join The Wife telenovela for their much-anticipated third and final season.
Season of The Wife will premiere 10 November 2022. The telenovela is based on the third novel called Naledi His Love. The plot thickens this season with the main protagonist being Naledi portrayed by Goisang K Noge who is a new edition to the hit telenovela.
This season’s storyline will focus more on Qhawe Zulu and Naledi Montsho’s love. With Naledi missing and the Zulu brothers facing the heat, we are definitely in for a ride, a hellova of season that will keep us on the edge of our seats.
Kwenzo Ngcobo who has been a fan favourite from the first season plays Qhawe.
Motsaledi Setumo will play the role of Naledi’s sister Tshidi. Her last formidable role was on The Queen where she played the humble Dr Mmabatho Khoza.
Other new additions to the Hit telenovela includes Sello Motloung, who has been cast as Naledi’s Father Kgosi, while musician Stoan Seate will play Sefako, Qhawe’s rival for Naledi.
Rising star Matthews Rantsoma, who currently plays Nhlamulo on e.tv’s Scandal! Will play the role of Tsietsi. Ncebakazi Philingane has been cast to play Sambulo’s love interest, Xoli. Terrence Ngwila is set to play Detective Baloyi.
Motsaledi took to Instagram to announce her return to the small screen.
“And just like that, I’M BACK!” She captioned the post along with a picture of the countdown to The Wife’s premiere.
The new season will premiere on Thursday, 10 November on Showmax and new episodes will follow every Thursday.
