Kahlolo Phahlahla is taking the pageantry world by storm. Born in Seshego, Limpopo, she attended primary school at Moletjie – Mahwibitswane and then moved to Gauteng to complete her high school career.

In a world where dreams often seem distant, Kahlolo Phahlahla is redefining what it means to be a leader and an achiever. Her journey into modelling began with a spark of passion, fuelled by the desire to make a meaningful impact in her community. The idea of using her platform to give back generously resonated deeply with Kahlolo – modelling became the catalyst to turn her dream into reality, providing a path she didn’t know existed.

In an interview with SA POSITIVE NEWS Kahlolo took us down on a memory lane to her very first modelling experience.

“I remember it like it was yesterday. Modelling on stage was an unforgettable experience. Overcoming initial nerves – I discovered a genuine passion for performance and teamwork. This journey ignited my confidence and fuelled my enthusiasm for future pursuits.”

Kahlolo’s modelling accolades are impressive. She is the current reigning Miss Tembisa Arts Princess, Miss Nsuku Foundation Charity, and Miss Ebony Park Mentor.

“All my accolades hold significant value, as each provided unique learning opportunities. Notably, the Miss Nsuku Foundation Charity award stands out. This recognition enabled me to engage in meaningful philanthropic work, fostering personal growth and fulfilment”, said Phahlahla.

Kahlolo has a heart for her community. She aims to register a non-profit organization that will strictly focus on alleviating period poverty by providing essential sanitary products. Currently in development, the initiative aligns with her passion for community service and empowerment.

Kahlolo Phahlahla is showing no signs of slowing down. Even with all the astounding success achieved thus far, the modelling maestro is grabbing the bull by the horns and striking while the iron is hot. She is a finalist for Miss Capricorn 2025 pageant – advocating for promoting equal opportunities for people with disabilities and confidence.

“Miss Capricorn is not just a beauty pageant, but it is also a development program. This platform enables me to revive my passion for philanthropy, focusing on empowering disadvantaged communities”, said Kahlolo.

“Currently, I’m organizing a sanitary pad and clothing drive. Support is greatly appreciated, and donations can be made in-kind. Additionally, I’m competing for the Public Choice Award, with SMSs to votes starting at R5.”

Kahlolo Phahlahla is true testament to the power of dreams, dedication, and the unyielding spirit of youth. As she paves her path to greatness, there’s no telling how far she will go. The beauty with brains to match is currently pursuing a Building Sciences qualification at Tshwane University of Technology under the faculty of Engineering and Built Environment.
