Astute Television presenter Kuhle Adams announces her new TV gig
The talented presenter and live host is one of the presenters set to host Channel O’s iRequest: Celebrity Edition, which is in its fourth season. The show premiered on Thursday, 06 October, with the host traveling around South Africa bringing viewers closer to their favourite musical talents, getting down to their most memorable moments, career highlights and more.
On the premiere episode, Kuhle sits down with Amapiano hitmaker and producer, Felo Le Tee.
Adams took to Instagram to share her excitement with her many adoring fans
“I’m so excited to be joining @channelotv squad as the new host of I Request: The celebrity Edition alongside my absolute favourite human @gontsekingculture,” she captioned the post.
“Like ndim lo? ? I never take for granted the opportunities God places my way. Opportunities that challenge me and allow me to grow. I cannot wait for you to be a part of this ride ?✨ it’s going to be a good one”, she concluded.
The latter is no stranger to South African Television screens. The much-loved television presenter made a mark in showbiz after she was the runner-up in the MTV Base VJ Search in 2017. Adams’ runner-up place in the VJ Search was not the end of her dreams of broadcast presenting aspirations.
In 2019, she entered the Presenter Search on 3 competition. Kuhle’s infectious talent shone through and she went on to become one of the only two female contestants who made it to Top 5. Kuhle Adams, together with Jamie Domburg emerged victorious and went on to host South Africa’s feel good breakfast show, Expresso at the end of 2019.
Adams has been securing the bag as of late, she recently hosted the 2022 DSTV Mzansi Viewers’ Choice Awards red carpet extravaganza.
Expanding beyond the screen, Adams has also brought listeners lifestyle and culture reporting on the “Good Night Fridays” Podcast.
