“It truly is difficult to put into words what I feel at the moment – being back to the place I called home for a decade…”

The astute Television personality is set to make a much-anticipated return to SABC 3’s Expresso morning show.

Katlego will return to our screens on Monday, 8 August 2022.

His final appearance on the hit morning show was in late 2020. He was removed from the show following damning claims about his personal life.

Monique Muller, his then partner accused him of cheating. A video of a conversation between the former couple went viral on social media.

The 35-year-old confesses to cheating in the footage, which was taken by Monique. She went on to accuse Maboe of domestic violence.

Katlego denied the abuse allegations. Following his removal from the show, tens of thousands of people signed a petition calling for him to be put back on the show.

Expresso show producers, Cardova Productions, confirmed today that he would be returning to the morning show, which airs on SABC3.

“After a protracted legal process, the courts absolved Maboe against these allegations in January 2022. On his big return next Monday, Katlego will be in conversation with Graeme Richards in what promises to be an emotional sit-down as Katlego unpacks the challenging journey he has been on over the past two years and how he got back to himself,” officials said in a statement.

Katlego is super stocked to be back to do what he does best.

“It truly is difficult to put into words what I feel at the moment – being back to the place I called home for a decade. I’m filled with so much gratitude for all those who have been supportive and encouraging throughout this journey and I’m looking forward to having the opportunity, once again, to help an incredible team deliver an inspiring show to our people,” he said in a statement

We are thrilled to have one of the best TV presenters in the country back on our favourite “feel good breakfast show”.

What a time to be alive!
