The Experience would be holding the 15th edition of its annual gospel concert on Friday, 11th of December, 2020 virtually. The prestigious event is going to be live streamed around the world, serving as a platform to unify the global Church and establish God’s Kingdom here on earth.
Due to the global pandemic, this highly anticipated concert will hold, for the first time, exclusively online. This event is known to attract gospel music enthusiasts from all over the nation, the continent and the world, where hundreds of thousands of people gather to worship and praise God from dusk till dawn – regardless of class, race, or religion.
With reference to previous editions, it averages an annual attendance of over 500,000 people at the Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos, Nigeria, with many more watching online from all over the globe, creating a digital footprint in all 7 continents of the world. This makes it the Largest of its kind globally.
Despite the restrictions imposed by the pandemic, this global award-winning event will still uphold its standard virtually and showcase amazing musical performances and goodwill messages by internationally recognised Artistes, Icons and Luminaries uniting under Christ’s banner to amplify the gospel and share His universal message of peace and goodwill to all.
This year will feature some new entrants to The Experience stage and joining the line-up for a debut feature will be Hillsong United, The Capetown Philharmonic Choir (Brandon Phillips (Conductor) & Selim Valentino (Soloist)), Ana Paula Valadao, Sidney Mohede, Matt Redman, Sheldon Bangera, Tasha Cobbs, and Maverick City.
Making a comeback will be other internationally acclaimed, award winning artistes including Travis Greene, Nathaniel Bassey, Chevelle Franklyn, Sinach. The Planetshakers, Donnie McClurkin, Don Moen, Onos Ariyo, Sonnie Badu, Eben, Tope Alabi, Mercy Chinwo, William McDowell, Ada, Nokwe the Poet and the host choir, LMGC.
The event would also have guest appearances by global icons as Hosts. The Experience is hosted by Pastors Paul and Ifeanyi Adefarasin; senior pastors of The House on the Rock Church who have envisioned and implemented this great idea for 15 years now.
