Multichoice has over the years made sure that they know and understand what kind of content their customers love and resonate with and make sure that’s the content they deliver.

As part of DStv’s Multichoice on-going efforts to enhance customers’ television viewing experience and delight them with local, relevant and fresh content that resonates with viewers, staying true to the kids and development of their minds through content making the world a more playful and interesting place, Multichoice and ViacomCBS Networks Africa are proud to announce the introduction of the Amharic language onto Nick Jr., the educational, pre-school channel from Nickelodeon.

What the Ethiopian audiences can look forward to will be an initially phased approach of the Amharic programming content line-up that will begin with the playful and helpful pups from Paw Patrol, the eager feathered cadets from Top Wing, problem solving Rusty Rivets and the little girl with a big heart, Abby Hatcher.

The aim of the 24-hour channel, partially broadcasting in Amharic, is to give active DStv Premium, Compact Plus, Compact, and Family customers in Ethiopia more choice and content that their young ones will be able to enjoy and help mould and develop their young minds, while ensuring that each DStv package offers value to Ethiopian customers by giving them the best mix of channels at the right price.

Multichoice remains committed to delivering the best entertainment experience to its customers in Ethiopia – telling the best local and international stories, giving access to nail-biting sporting action and up-to-the-minute news, as well as leading international series, movies, documentaries and children’s entertainment.
