The Mr World South Africa and Mr Gay World South Africa Organisations has announced that due to the COVID pandemic and the safety of everyone we will postpone the 2021 pageants to the 21st and 22nd May 2021.
Entries have been extended and will close on the 28th February 2021 at midnight;’ stated Andrew Hare – Communications Officer, Mr World South Africa and Mr Gay World South Africa.
Hare mentioned that the Mr World South Africa and Mr Gay World South Africa Organisations have not yet announced the panel of judges. ‘Once we have received all the entries, we will do the necessary background checks to ensure that there is good governance in place.’
Hare added; ‘we have a jam-packed weekend of pageants in store for you, starting off your weekend on 21st May with Mr Gay World South Africa and then Mr World South Africa on 22nd May. Our aim is to show the world that united we stand together, with the tagline United with Purpose.’
‘We will title Mr Gay World South Africa 2021 on 21st May and Mr World South Africa 2021 on 22nd May. These titleholders will represent South Africa internationally.’ Hare concluded
